Karen McLean

Karen is the principal Solicitor Director of McLean & Associates Solicitors. In 2003, Karen brought city style legal work to the Northern Beaches and established McLean & Associates Solicitors. The primary focus of her practice is personal and corporate insolvency advisory and litigation, commercial litigation, debt recovery and general commercial advice. Karen focuses on good strong client relationships, a relaxed and flexible working environment and embrace plain English advice.

Karen is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia. She has appeared extensively in all jurisdictions in New South Wales, in other courts and Tribunals in Canberra, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia as well as Australian Federal Courts and the High Court.

Karen has also presented numerous papers on the topics of debt recovery, personal insolvency and corporate insolvency in a number of State Conferences, regional and rural CLE as well as in-house for insolvency practitioner clients.
